The following information was sent as an e-mail to all students on November 4th, 2021:

Dear Campus Community,

Anteater Express is currently planning for what service will look like for the upcoming quarters by monitoring passenger data and making necessary adjustments to our current routing.  While service will continue for on-campus and east-campus housing routes, all self-pay and off-campus routes will remain suspended/offline for the remainder of the 2021-2022 academic year. These suspended routes include the W Line (West Irvine route), D Line (District-Diamond Jamboree route), and S Line (Irvine Spectrum route).

We recognize that the continued suspension of these routes will be an inconvenience for some of our patrons who live off-campus and require transportation to campus. As an alternative, we highly recommend utilizing Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus routes and the University Pass available through Transportation and Distribution Services. The University Pass provides similar service at an affordable price to various off-campus locations, and includes unlimited rides on the OC Bus shuttles. OCTA has additional information on routes and schedules on their website. More information about the University Pass can be found on the UCI Transportation and Distribution Services website.
